GST done right, every month

  • Tax invoices with your GSTIN. CGST and SGST on every line, with SAC codes. A bill of supply when no GST applies.

  • ₹7,500 RWA exemption, built in. Flats within the limit pay no GST; above it, GST applies as the rules require.

  • Input tax credit. GST on vendor bills is claimed as credit and reduces what you pay.

  • GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B summaries. Monthly sales by SAC and rate, credit notes, ITC and net GST payable, as CSV.

  • Correct by default. No GST until the society registers. Credit notes reverse their share of tax.

FAQ

Questions about Habitat’s maintenance billing & accounting

Can residents pay maintenance online?

Yes, by UPI, cards and net banking, with a PDF receipt. Cash, cheque and NEFT are recorded by the office, and bounced cheques are reversed with one action.

Does it handle GST for housing societies?

Yes. Register your GSTIN and Habitat issues tax invoices with CGST and SGST by SAC code, applies the ₹7,500 per flat RWA exemption, claims input credit on vendor bills and prepares GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B summaries for your CA to file.

Can our auditor or CA use it?

Yes. Give them the Auditor role: they see the balance sheet, income and expenditure, receipts and payments, trial balance and audit trail, and can export CSV or Tally XML.

Can we bring our opening balances?

Yes. Opening dues and advances per flat, bank and fund balances are imported during free onboarding.

Is it really free?

Yes. There is no subscription, per-flat fee, setup fee or paid tier, and onboarding, migration and training are free too. The only third-party charge is the payment gateway’s standard fee on online payments, shown before anyone pays.
