Questions about Habitat’s society management app
Is it really free?
Yes. There is no subscription, per-flat fee, setup fee or paid tier, and onboarding, migration and training are free too. The only third-party charge is the payment gateway’s standard fee on online payments, shown before anyone pays.
What does a society management app do?
It runs the day-to-day of a housing society: who comes in at the gate, maintenance bills and payments, the society’s accounts, notices and polls, amenity bookings, complaints, staff and the residents directory. Habitat does all of these in one app.
Does it work for small buildings and large townships?
Yes. Quick setup creates blocks, floors, flat numbers and parking in one go, for a 12-flat building or a township with many towers. Residents can belong to several flats or societies with one login.
We already use another app or Excel. How hard is it to switch?
Not hard, and it’s free. Send us your member list and your last balances from your current app, Excel or Tally. We import opening dues, advances, bank and fund balances, and you’re live in 2 days.
Where is our data kept?
On highly secure servers in India, and never sold. Every person sees only what their role allows, and every admin and money action is in the audit trail. There is no contract, and you can export your data any time.
